Jacob Higgins made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Master's Academy is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-7 otherwise. Higgins was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Johnny Featherstone and Landon Alford did most of the damage at the plate: Featherstone went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs, while Alford went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Alford is becoming a predictor of Master's Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-7 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Ciufo, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
