Colton McCaleb made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Mason pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Williamston, their win bumped their record up to 17-1.
