Caston came into Wednesday's   match looking for another win against Logansport, but  Logan Lange wouldn't allow it. The Logansport Berries walked away with  a   65-53  win over the Caston Comets  on Wednesday thanks in part to  Lange, who  went 8 of 11 on his way to 18  points in addition to six  steals and five  assists. Those 18 points gave  him a new career-high.
 Despite the  loss, Caston saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Lane Hook  went 7 for 12 on his way to 17  points and five  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gavin Mollenkopf, who  posted nine points.
The  victory  got Logansport back to even at 1-1. As for Caston, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
 Logansport didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  68-39  win against Pioneer on the 6th. As for Caston, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  53-50  victory against Lewis Cass on the 6th.
