The Glenbard West Hilltoppers and the St. Laurence Vikings will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Hopefully Glenbard West is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. Laurence in Illinois (Glenbard West is ranked 35th, while St. Laurence is ranked 93rd).
Glenbard West pushed their score all the way to 58 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Glenbrook North by a score of 60-58. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (55), Glenbard West still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, St. Laurence was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 51-50 to Glenbrook North.
Glenbard West's loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-2. As for St. Laurence, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
