Oakland-Craig's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaak Maxwell, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Maxwell has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Braylon Anderson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.
Pender's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trevor Trimble led the charge by scoring nine points along with eight assists. It was the first time this season that Trimble posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Aiden Beckman, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Oakland-Craig's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Pender, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.
