Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Mancos Bluejays walked away with it. They really took it to the Fightin' Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 40-0 victory on the road. Considering Mancos has won 11 games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Kail Wayman, who rushed for 266 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
The win was the ninth in a row for Mancos, bringing their record for this year to 12-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.22 points. As for Haxtun, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.
Mancos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Haxtun also has no future games currently scheduled.
