 Saranac's loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 11-5. As for Peru, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.
 Saranac will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Plattsburgh at 4:30  p.m. Plattsburgh is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8  runs per game  this season. As for Peru, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Saranac Lake at 4:30  p.m. Peru knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Saranac Lake likes a good challenge.
