Despite the loss, Hilton Head Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Qayden Turner, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah White, who scored 11 points.
Hilton Head Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ben Frey, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Jason Britschge, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Hilton Head Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Hilton Head Prep, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-5.
Hilton Head Christian Academy on the road again on Monday and play against Sumter at 12:00 p.m. on January 15th. As for Hilton Head Prep, they will take on John Paul II at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. John Paul II knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Hilton Head Prep likes a good challenge.
