Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Grace was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 497 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arrowhead Christian only gained 351.
Grace wouldn't let Arrowhead Christian keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Grace can thank Jaadin Weyandt and Jayden Foote for forcing both of them. That's the most total yards Foote has posted since back in September of 2023.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Wyatt Gruner, who threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 90 yards on only ten carries. Mark Oosten was Gruner's top target, picking up 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Grace's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Arrowhead Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Grace will take on Amador at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arrowhead Christian, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Colton at 7:00 p.m.
