The Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell to UIC College Prep 46-40. If Muchin College Prep hoped to take revenge for the 48-42 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead UIC College Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Coleman, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Marcus Moore was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Muchin College Prep's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-9. As for UIC College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
Muchin College Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face DRW College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for UIC College Prep, they will face off against Julian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Julian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
