Despite the loss, St. Joseph's Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lucy Moriarty had 18 digs. Moriarty has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.
St. Joseph's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for St. Pius X, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 34-2-1.
