The Manor Mustangs fell victim to the Stony Point Tigers's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They suffered a tough 3-0 defeat at the hands of the Tigers. While losing is never fun, Manor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Stony Point is ranked 60th).
Manor's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-3. As for Stony Point, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Vandegrift the next time they take the pitch. Stony Point will host Vandegrift at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Manor will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 20th.
