Cheyenne-Eagle Butte lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Braxton Kennedy, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. Dayson Kennedy was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Cheyenne-Eagle Butte's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Mobridge-Pollock, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.
