After a string of four wins, Stranahan's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 52-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chaminade-Madonna Lions. The Mighty Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.
Chaminade-Madonna was led to victory by Jasen Lopez and Isaac Mothersill. Lopez dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Mothersill posted 19 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Mothersill continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jayden McLeod was another key player, putting up five points.
