Softball Recap: Douglas Wins Going Away Against Arab

While Douglas put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Arab. The Douglas Eagles were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Arab Knights. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Arab, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Douglas will face off against Brindlee Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Douglas' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Brindlee Mountain's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Arab will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sardis at 3:30 p.m. on March 18th.
