There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. Among the action were the efforts of Wise's senior Quinton Williams, an offensive menace who scored five total TDs.
Can't Touch This
Wise got a 43 - 0 win over Eleanor Roosevelt last week, and a key reason for the win was senior Quinton Williams. Williams tossed the ball for 231 yards and four TDs. That performance made Williams one of the best players in the power rankings last week.
This Week's Big Showdown
The showdown between Our Lady of Good Counsel (3rd in the power rankings) and DeMatha (4th) shaped up to be more of a takedown. Our Lady of Good Counsel has to be hurting after a devastating 32 - 2 defeat at the hands of DeMatha. The power rankings were completely indifferent to the match, so neither team moved up or down this week.
No Stoppin 'Em
It was another game, another high-octane performance for Oakdale last week (their 6th in a row). It picked up a decisive 'W' against Governor Thomas Johnson, finishing up at 69 - 13. That 56-point margin marks the most Oakdale has won by all season. The combined 82-point effort made this the highest-scoring game in the power rankings for the week.

After a challenging last week, McDonogh now finds itself down five power ranking positions. No one has a better right to be disappointed since that was the biggest drop of the week. It came up short against St. Vincent-St. Mary, falling 19 - 7. McDonogh unfortunately couldn't repeat the imposing 30-point effort it came up with in its previous game.
