A.C. Reynolds can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 58-14 victory over McDowell. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 52-8.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead A.C. Reynolds to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wesley Rumbough, who picked up 95 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Craig, who threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes.
Meanwhile, North Gaston was the victim of a rough 35-14 defeat at the hands of South Point on Friday.
North Gaston's defeat came about despite a quality game from Jurnee Lattimore, who picked up 217 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Ewing, who threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns.
A.C. Reynolds' victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-3. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 45.67 points. As for North Gaston, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
