Kennedy Davila was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with two steals for Kelly Walsh. Davila is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lillian Hudson, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Rock Springs dropped their record down to 3-11 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Kelly Walsh, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Springs will take on Green River at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Green River is ranked 30th, while Rock Springs is ranked 37th). As for Kelly Walsh, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Evanston at 5:30 p.m. Evanston comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
