Jefferson-Morgan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Huston Guesman, who scored 20 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Guesman has scored at least 25% of Jefferson-Morgan's points. Dayten Marion was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Jefferson-Morgan's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Waynesburg Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson-Morgan will take on Charleroi at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Charleroi comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Waynesburg Central, they will be playing at home against Bethlehem Center at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Bethlehem Center focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Tuesday.
