The Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats entered their tilt with the Ganado Indians with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Bloomington took down Ganado 38-23 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bloomington also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Leading Bloomington to victory were Lizette Castillo and Khyli Proctor. Castillo scored four points along with 16 rebounds and two steals, while Proctor scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Proctor continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Bloomington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season. As for Ganado, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-19 record this season.
Bloomington will square off against Weimar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bloomington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Tuesday. Ganado does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
