East Catholic dropped their record down to 11-12 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 12-0 to the St. Paul Catholic Falcons. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for St. Paul Catholic, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-3. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 19 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

For St. Paul Catholic's part, the team relied heavily on Isabella McCulloch, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI McCulloch has posted since back in May. Julia Kozlak was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.
