Baseball Recap: Schoolcraft Wins Going Away Against Gobles

Schoolcraft won the last time they faced Gobles and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Tigers. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.

Schoolcraft is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Gobles, they moved to 4-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schoolcraft will head out to take on Centreville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gobles, they will face off against Allegan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
