After flying high against LaGrange Academy last Friday, the Fulton Science Academy Mustangs came back down to earth. Fulton Science Academy took a 69-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fideles Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Friday (60), Fulton Science Academy still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Fulton Science Academy still got an impressive performance from Andre Green, Jr. , who scored 30 points. Green, Jr. scored a full 47.6% of Fulton Science Academy's points, the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Lucas Marks was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Gabe Reynolds was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Benjamin Harper, who scored 23 points.
Fulton Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Fideles Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Fulton Science Academy will head out on the road to face off against Fellowship Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fellowship Christian is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Fideles Christian, they will be playing at home against Young Americans Christian at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
