3A District 1 recap September 17, 2013
Jacob Sheppard of Little Axe ran for the longest rushing play in 3A District 1 this season against Lexington last week. Sheppard ran for 81 yards on the play and finished with 186 on the day as his team topped the Bulldogs.
Little Axe and Lexington played the closest game in the league this week, with Little Axe eventually emerging with a 29-28 victory. Sheppard caught 2 passes for 35 yards during the win.
Ted Dorrell's team's dynamic duo of Keith Robertson and Garrett Osborn proved tough for Jeff Hall's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Robertson threw for 112 yards and Osborn had 42 yards receiving.

Stringer from Jeff Craig's team leads the league in rushing with 439 yards.
Marlow took down Comanche 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
