California Academy of Math & Science has been on the road for seven straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the New Roads Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Wednesday, California Academy of Math & Science was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-46 to Hawthorne Math & Science Academy.
Meanwhile, New Roads lost to Vistamar at home by a decisive 56-37 margin on Thursday.
California Academy of Math & Science now has a losing record at 7-8. As for New Roads, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-6.
California Academy of Math & Science came out on top in a nail-biter against New Roads in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, sneaking past 58-55.
