Mercer put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 75-63 win over Erie First Christian Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in February.

When it comes to explaining why Erie First Christian Academy lost, don't look at Avery Collins. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 49.2% of Erie First Christian Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Simon Gonzalez, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds.

Mercer's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Erie First Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Mercer will take on Rocky Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mercer has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three matchups.
