The Apostles Lutheran Falcons won the last time they faced North Bay Christian Academy, and things went their way on Thursday too. Apostles Lutheran really took it to the for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-28 win on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-10.
Apostles Lutheran was led to victory by Joseph Zhang and Jeremy Bork. Zhang scored 14 points along with six steals, while Bork scored 23 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Zhang is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Chad Chiu was another key contributor, scoring four points along with three blocks and two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Apostles Lutheran and bumps their season record up to 11-6. As for North Bay Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Patten Academy the next time they take the court. North Bay Christian Academy will host Patten Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Apostles Lutheran will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
