Washington scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 68-36 victory over McClain. That looming 68-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Washington yet this season.
Washington had a senior duo take command as Isaiah Haithcock scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and Garrett Rickman scored 16 points along with seven steals. The contest was Haithcock's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Miller, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Wilmington pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 65-57 to Ross. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wilmington in their matchups with Ross: they've now lost five in a row.
Washington's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Wilmington, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
