The Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Prince RVT Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Sports & Medical Sciences Academy fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Cheney RVT on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 60-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, Prince RVT came up short against Grasso Tech on Tuesday and fell 66-54.
Despite the defeat, Prince RVT had strong showings from Nate Baker, who scored 11 points, and Jordan Iverson, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Early Kollie was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds.
Sports & Medical Sciences Academy's record now sits at 1-1. Prince RVT's record is now 0-2.
