The Boothbay Seahawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 72-28 loss at the hands of St. Dominic. Boothbay was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Dominic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2016.
When it comes to explaining why Boothbay lost, one person who can't be blamed is Finn Harkins. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points.
Boothbay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Dominic, their win was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
Boothbay will be home for the holidays to greet Hall-Dale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Dominic, they will head out on the road to face off against Dirigo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
