Mingo Valley Christian was led to victory by Harrison Chatham and Isaiah McLemore. Chatham scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds, while McLemore scored 30 points. The contest was McLemore's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Tyler Neal was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
Santa Fe South now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mingo Valley Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.
Santa Fe South will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Mingo Valley Christian will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Metro Christian at 8:30 p.m. on December 9th.
