Dunmore put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Montrose Meteors 16-1. Fans of the Bucks have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Jamie McMynne made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That one hit allowed gave him a new career-low. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jackson Cady, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Mason Stets was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
Dunmore always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Dunmore pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average this season.
