The Pascack Valley Panthers lost against the Northern Highlands Highlanders back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Pascack Valley received a tough blow as they fell 61-44 to Northern Highlands.
Among those leading the charge was Sawyer Chapler, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Freddie Kanning, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Pascack Valley's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Northern Highlands, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pascack Valley will be home for the holidays to greet St. Joseph Regional at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Northern Highlands will be home for the holidays to greet NV - Demarest at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
