After a string of six wins, the Walker Valley Mustangs's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. The contest between Walker Valley and Silverdale Academy wasn't particularly close, with Walker Valley falling 84-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (61), Walker Valley still had to take the loss.
Silverdale Academy was led to victory by Brett Wright and Kennedy Okpara. Wright scored 29 points, while Okpara dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Wright's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Richardson, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Walker Valley's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Silverdale Academy, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-1.
