Dove Creek's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 42 points in the first half. Monument Valley countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 42-6 going into the half. Dove Creek were outperformed in the second half 6-7 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The victory bumped their record up to 5-2. The defeat dropped Monument Valley's record to 3-5.
Next week Dove Creek take on Sargent at 6:00 PM. Sargent also lit up the scoreboard in their last matchup, so this could be a high-scoring matchup. As for Monument Valley, they will face off against Whitehorse. Whitehorse are limping into the match on a three-game losing streak.
