The Box Elder Bees scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Valencia on the road to the tune of 59-19. That 59-19 margin sets a new team best for Box Elder this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Box Elder to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaylee Chappell, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chappell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamri Andersen, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Box Elder now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Valencia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Box Elder won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Henderson at 10:30 a.m. on December 15th. Henderson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 325th in Pennsylvania, while Box Elder is ranked 36th in Utah). Valencia is on the road again on Thursday and play against Dana Hills at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st.
