University came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Strasburg Indians 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-17.
Delaney Lauer paced University's offense, picking up eight kills. Lauer got some help from Kenley Rudiger and her 21 assists. Charlie Sherman controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Despite the loss, Strasburg saw an underclassman step up: freshman Camryn Forbis had three digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Forbis.
