It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fergus/Winnett/Grass Range had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on Hamilton with a sharp 36-13 victory. Considering Fergus/Winnett/Grass Range has won four matchups by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Lucas Lant, who rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown. Tommy Bender got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Fergus/Winnett/Grass Range's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Fergus/Winnett/Grass Range will head out on the road to face off against Beaverhead County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Beaverhead County will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
