It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Windham Whippets can now relate to. They had to suffer through a rough 33-0 loss at the hands of the Titans. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, Windham couldn't push the score so high this time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sheehan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brady Rossacci, who rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Rossacci definitely has the trust of the coaching staff as he's now carried the ball at least 25 times in the last four games he's played. Paul Gorry was another key contributor, rushing for 35 yards and a touchdown.
Windham's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Sheehan, the last time they lost on the road was back back in October. Having now won three straight away matchups, they've pushed their record up to 7-4.
Windham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sheehan will be staying on the road on Sunday to face off against Joel Barlow at 12:30 p.m. on December 3rd. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Joel Barlow: 15.8, Sheehan: 11.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
