On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Marysville beat Santa Rosa 46-41.
Dennis Syders was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. Anthony Walker was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and five blocks.
Marysville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Santa Rosa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marysville and Franklin will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Franklin comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Santa Rosa will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christopher on December 28th.
