The Desert Mountain Wolves will face off against the Williams Field Black Hawks at 10:00  a.m.  on Wednesday. Desert Mountain is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5  runs per game  this season.
Desert Mountain came into their game  on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against  Pinnacle, falling  14-7.
 Everrett Hagan and  Adrian Sisco did some serious damage despite the final result:  Hagan  scored a  run while going 3-for-4, while  Sisco  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Roman Carrington was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  hit department: Desert Mountain  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in four consecutive  matchups.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Williams Field). They were the clear victor by  a  21-8 margin over Dobson on Tuesday. Considering the Black Hawks have won four contests by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Ryan Teran was a standout: he got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. What's more,  he posted two  hits, the most he's  had since back in February of 2024.  Thomas Petranek also deserves some recognition as  he  brought in his first  RBI of the season.
 Williams Field pushed their record up to 7-2 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Desert Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
