American Christian School won against the Lincoln Lions last Thursday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. American Christian School took down Lincoln 58-44. Winning may never get old, but American Christian School sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
American Christian School got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Japhet Santiago out in front who scored 25 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Santiago grabbed two or more steals. Elijah Kenyi was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds.
American Christian School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
American Christian School's road trip will continue as they head out to face Veritas Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Veritas Christian Academy is ranked 261st, while American Christian School is ranked 254th). As for Lincoln, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Bergen at 6:10 p.m.
