If the Central Academy Cougars were feeling good off their 79-39 takedown of the Apprentice Academy Red Wolves on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Central Academy took a 74-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Montgomery Central on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Michael Hoff, who scored 21 points along with three steals. Hoff continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
