 Gurdon dropped their record down to 2-5 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Spring Hill, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 2-5.
 Gurdon came out on top in a nail-biter against Spring Hill when the teams last played  back in October of 2019, sneaking past  2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gurdon since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
