Loudonville is 0-10 against the Cubs since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Loudonville Redbirds will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lucas Cubs at 7:30 p.m.
Last Monday, Loudonville had to suffer through a rough 91-49 loss at the hands of the Flames. Loudonville has struggled against the Flames recently, as their game on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Lucas put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 72-29 win over Elgin at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-15.
Logan Toms was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Culler, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Loudonville dropped their record down to 6-11 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Lucas, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.
