Midtown had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Northside Patriots to the tune of 71-41 on Tuesday. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 23 points or more this season.
Leading Midtown to victory were Sinclair Richman and Cate Barton. Richman went 12-for-24 en route to 28 points and five boards, while Barton dropped a triple-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists. That's the most boards Richman has posted since back in December of 2024. Starrselena Crawford was another key player, putting up eight points and three blocks.
Midtown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Northside and nudges their season record down to 13-13.
