After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lexington, North Augusta was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the South Aiken Thoroughbreds as they made off with a 10-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets, who have now won five games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Eleanor Brummond spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. Those 13 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
