The Youngker Roughriders will challenge the North Canyon Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Youngker is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games.
Youngker took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Centennial, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Roughriders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Coyotes on Monday.

Youngker saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremiah Garcia, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Garcia has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Meanwhile, North Canyon had just enough and edged out Buckeye 8-6 on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Rattlers have won by exactly two runs.
Jose Chavez made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because North Canyon is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-11 otherwise. Chavez was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Johnny Huerta, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Hunter Dye, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
North Canyon hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Youngker pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for North Canyon, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Youngker has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. However, it's not like North Canyon struggles in that department as they've averaged .444. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
