Hilliard Bradley is 3-0 against the Cruisers since February of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Hilliard Bradley Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Groveport-Madison Cruisers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Friday, Hilliard Bradley came up short against the Patriots and fell 52-41. While losing is never fun, Hilliard Bradley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Patriots are ranked 21st).
Meanwhile, Groveport-Madison unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Pickerington Central on the road and fell 73-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Groveport-Madison has scored all season.
Hilliard Bradley dropped their record down to 5-13 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Groveport-Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
Hilliard Bradley strolled past the Cruisers when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 57-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hilliard Bradley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
