The Harpeth Indians are taking a road trip to square off against The Webb School Feet at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Harpeth is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against McEwen on Tuesday. Everything went Harpeth's way against McEwen as Harpeth made off with a 10-4 victory.
Hudson Ealy made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ealy was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other pitching news, Hudson Clark looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-low in hits.

Meanwhile, The Webb School hadn't done well against Battle Ground Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Webb School was the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over Battle Ground Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Feet.
Owen Fogle was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Drew Baker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
The Webb School pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Harpeth, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Harpeth has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like The Webb School struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Harpeth couldn't quite get it done against The Webb School in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 as they fell 8-3. Can Harpeth avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
